New Castle...Crystal Helena (Keesling) Haynes, 95, resident of New Castle, died Sunday evening at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, after a brief illness.She was born in Henry County, October 7, 1908, the daughter of Carie Shaffer and Rosetta Goudy Keesling.She had been a homemaker most of her life.She had been preceded in death by her husband: Leighton (Bill) Lewis Haynes in 1983, 2 brothers: James Keesling and Robert Keesling, 2 sisters: Olive Dawson and Violet Keesling, 1 sons: Harold Haynes, 1 granddaughter: Cheryl Wattenbarger, 1 grandson: Gerry Haynes and 1 great great granddaughter: Laura Haynes.Survivors include 1 daughter: Wilma Cory of Sun City West, Arizona, 2 sons: Robert (Ernestine) Haynes of Middletown and Gerald (Bobbie) Haynes of New Castle, 1 daughter-in-law: Iva Haynes of Shirley and 4 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 3 step great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Pastor Maynard Powell officiating.Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery in Middletown.Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 PM.Online Guestbook is available at: www.ballardandsons.com
