Cora Lee Bowers

Parker City...Cora Lee Bowers, 85, resident of Parker City Healthcare, died Thursday morning at Parker City Healthcare, after a brief illness.She was born in Henry County, January 6, 1918, the daughter of James and Alta Wright Bowers.She had worked in the canning factories of Middletown and Kennard and was a 1937 graduate of Cadiz High School.She was active in the Farm Bureau Co-Op and the Oakville Elevator.Survivors include her caregivers: John and Janice Bowers of Parker City, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.Funeral services will be Monday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown.Burial will follow at Miller Cemetery in Middletown.Friends may call on Sunday from 6-8 PM.Memorial contributions may be made to Parker City Healthcare.Online Guestbook available at: www.ballardandsons.com
