Middletown...Connie Lou Haynes, 67, resident of Middletown, passed away October 8, 2011 at St. Johns Medical Center in Anderson following an extended illness.She was born December 14, 1943, the daughter of Robert C. and Laura Mae (Hensley) Hanna, who preceded her in death.She was a lifelong resident of Middletown and was a homemaker and bookkeeper for the family business she and her husband started in 1975.She drove a school bus for Shenandoah Schools for 24 years and was realtor/owner and broker for Express Realty for 14 years. She enjoyed camping, gardening, NASCAR, and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.She was a member of Sixth Street Christian Church in Middletown and the American Legion Auxillary.She is survived by her husband of 52 years: Jimmie K, two daughters: Debbie (David) McCoy of Knightstown and Dawn (Beau) Gentle of Fredricksburg, Texas. Four grandchildren: Dana (Ryan) Gipson of Brownsburg, Devon McCoy of Knightstown, Clay B. and Jimmie Cole Gentle of Fredricksburg, TX, two great grandchildren: Macee and Jackson Gipson of Brownsburg, two sisters: Karen Mathews and Sharen (Bill) Beard, one brother: Gary (Jan) Hanna, several nieces and nephews and cousins.Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev. Maynard Powell officiating.Burial will follow in MIller Cemetery, Middletown.Friends may call on Tuesday from noon until the time of the services.Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Research Association.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com
