Anderson....Cleo Fern (Farmer) Cottingham, 95, resident of Anderson, passed away at January 5, 2016 at Community Hospital in Anderson.She will be sadly missed by family and friends and loved spending time with grandchildren and great grandchildren.She had lived in the Anderson area all of her life.She was born in Henry County, March 16, 1920, the daughter of Frank and Alta Pate Farmer.She retired from General Motors (Delco Remy) after 30 years of service.She was an assistant Democratic Precinct Committee person, member of the MOOSE Lodge, Order of the Easter Star of Middletown, and the UAW 662.She was a avid pacer fan and loved crossword puzzles. she loved to play guitar and sang and yodeled in several bands.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: William, a daughter: Jayne Sue, and siblings: Mamie, Mary Alice, Marjorie, George (G.I.), Bobbie, Woodrow and Amy.Survivors are her children: Larry Cottingham, Sandra Weatherburn (Albert), Sheri Buston, Cheryl Franklin and Stephen Cottingham (Tina) all of Anderson, 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.A Celebration of her life will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Marty Ballard officiating.
