Middletown...Clata Jean Eichhorn, 55, resident of Middletown, passed away at her residence on Friday morning after a brief illness.She was born in Byrdstown, TN, December 7, 1949, the daughter of Clinton Kermit and Grace Upchurch Bell.She had worked with her husband and in-laws in the family business at Eichhorn Associates for over 28 years.She moved to Middletown in 1975 and was Past Matron of the Middletown OES #110. She worked in the Shrine auxiliary and was past Vice President of the Indiana Blacksmith Association. She had been active in the Lions Club, American Legion and Jay Cee's.Survivors include her husband of 35 years: Victor Eichhorn of Middletown, 1 son: Dieter of Muncie, 2 brothers: James (Nitra) Bell of Florida and Michael (Susanne)Bell of Oak Ridge, TN, her father: Clinton of Mosheim, TN, several nieces and great nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters in laws: Dan (Carole) Eichhorn of Middletown, Curt (Susie) Eichhorn of Pendleton, and Greg (Irene) Eichhorn of League City, TX.She was preceded in death by 1 sister: Barbara Cunningham, her mother; Grace Bell, Grandmother: Lola Poore, Aunts and Uncles and great aunts and uncles as well as her mother and father-in-law: Dr. Elmer and Vera Eichhorn.Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2:00 at the Middletown United methodist Church with Pastor Jeff Landon officiating.Burial will follow in Miller cemetery east of Middletown.Friends may call at the Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown, on Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8PM with OES memorial services at 8:00 PM.Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.Online Guestbook is available at:
