Middletown....Clarence Lee Steinhall, 74, resident of Middletown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, died early Tuesday morning at the nursing home after an extended illness.He was born in Sullivan, Indiana, June 19, 1929, the son of Louis and Lola Steinhall.He was a 1947 graduate of Shelburn High School and retired from Chevrolet in Muncie in 1990 after 42 years as a machine repairman.He had lived in the Middletown area for the last 20 years moving from Muncie.He was a member of the Eagles Lodge of Muncie and the UAW #499.He was a licensed pilot since 1980.He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister, Ruby and 1 brother, Louis.Survivors include his wife: JoAnn (Beckenholt) of Middletown, 2 sons: Bobbie (Debra) Steinhall of Muncie and Rick (DaeCha) Steinhall of Muncie, 2 daughters: Shirley (Tracy) Musgrove of Louisiana and Sandra (Ron) Haston of Muncie, 3 stepchildren: Annette (Monte) Waymire of Fairmount, Randy (LuAnn) Haddin of New Castle and John (Angela) Haddin of Georgia, 17 grandchildren, several great grandchildren.Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev. James Harless of the Tri-County Christian Church officiating.Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery in Muncie.Friends may call on Thursday from 6-8 PM.Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Research or the Madison County humane Society.Online Guestbook is available at:
