Pinellas Park FL...Clarence Burl ""Rocky"" East, Jr., 55, died at 1:15 pm Saturday , January 10 at Hospice House Woodside from an extended illness.He was born on January 29, 1953 in Huntingburg, IN to Roscoe Abrell and Dorothy Farmer. He was adopted by Clarence B. East SR in 1960.He was a 1971 graduate of Shenandoah High School.He had been a State Farm Agent in Middletown for 5 years before moving to Florida where he was a handy man in the town of Dunedin.Survivors include a son: Clarence Doran D. East (Serena) of Pendleton, daughter: Shelby (East) Leverland (Kevin) of Columbus, SC, his granddaughter: Jenna East and a step granddaughter: Lena Siebenthal of Pendleton, 1 brother: James East of Anderson and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his father: Clarence B. East in 2000 and his mother: Dorothy Farmer in 1961 and a sister: Joyce Mitchell in 2003.Cremation will take place in Florida on January 14th.Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 25 at Miller Cemetery in Middletown, IN.Arrangements have been entrusted to Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, Middletown Chapel.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com
