Daleville....Chester A. Lock, 74, resident of Daleville, passed away Thursday evening at St. Vincents Hospital in Indianapolis.He was born in Ade, Indiana, April 2, 1939, the son of Chester C. and Dewana Rae McClatchey Lock.He was a 1957 graduate of Morocco High School and retired after 30 years at ABB in Muncie where he was a pipefitter.He was a member of the NRA, ABATE, and attended the First Baptist Church of Daleville. He loved riding his Harley Davidson and loved to paint, woodwork, tell stories, cook and fish.Survivors are his wife: Maxine of Daleville, 3 daughters: Valerie Davis (Jerry) of Anderson, Mitzi Martin (Steve) of Middletown, and Angie Woods (Mike) of Anderson, 3 sisters: Mitzi Etchison of Gendale, AZ, Judy Dodd (Harvey) of Morocco, IN, and Vonnie Deno (Roger) of West Lafayette, grandchildren: Erica Trahan, Tristan Shepard, Heather Evans, Chelsea Shepard, Cole and Logan Martin, and Madison Wood, 7 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister: Barbara Baxter.Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM Tuesday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut, Daleville with Pastor Chris Mischler officiating.Cremation will follow.Friends may call at the funeral hom in Daleville 2 hours before the services.Memorials may be made to the Salem Township Fire Department.Online Guestbook at:
