Sulphur Springs...Charlie F. Jones, 88, resident of Sulphur Springs, passed away Sunday morning in Muncie at The Woodlands.He was born November 28, 1921 in Byrdstown, TN, the son of William F. and Mabel (Glass) Jones.He married his wife, Martha E. (Logan) Jones, whom survives on May 25, 1941.He was employed for 47 years at Wilson Grain Elevator in Sulphur Springs.He is also survived by a son: Charlie P. Jones (Rebecca) of Daleville, 1 daughter:: Patsy E. Jones of Muncie, a grand-daughter: Julie A. Fierce (Jefferey) of Indianapolis, a grandson: Jay A. Jones (Michelle) of Daleville, a granddaughter in law: Penny Jones of Frankton, great grandchildren: Jacob and Jessica Fierce of Indianapolis, Sabrina Douglas and Rebecca Jones of Daleville, Haley and Holly Jones of Frankton and several nices and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson: John Paul Jones and his sisters: Lula Parrigan, Nova Stokes and Gladys Shoemake.Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown.Burial will follow in Tomlinson Cemtery in Muncie.Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 PMOnline Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com
