Anderson...Charles Boyd Troxell, 74 a resident of Middletown since 1964, passed away on Tuesday,August 23 at St. John""s Hospital following a brief illness. He was born in New Castle, Indiana on May 26,1937 and was the son of Grover and Lillian ""Rose"" Day Troxell. He graduated from New Castle High School in 1955 and worked in the foundary for General Motors. He was a member of the American Legion in Middletown, enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. He loved baseball. His favorite team was the Chicago Cubs. He also loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Patty. Survivors includ his wife Kaye of 53 years. 2 sons Alan (Patty) Troxell of Middletown, and Brian (girl friend Lana) of Daleville. 1 sister Debbie (Chris) Wiley of New Castle; 2 brothers David Troxell of New Castle and Eddie (Susie) Troxell also of New Castle. 4 grandchildren; Kelly Troxell of Middletown, Bryce Troxell of Middletown, Whitney Troxell(friend Tyler Robinette) of Chesterfield and Kenzie Troxell of Chesterefield. 1 Aunt; Frances Kelly of Anderson. Severeal Nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held at the Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown at 11 AM on Saturday, with the Revs. Marty Ballard and Cindy Upchurch officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8 on Friday, with burial in Miller Cemetery east of Middletown. Memorial contributions can be made to the Middletown EMS or to the Honey Creek United Methodist Church through the funeral home.Online condolences at www:ballardandsons.com.
