Charles Edward Norris

Middletown....Charles Edward Norris, 80, resident of Middletown, passed away Tuesday evening at St. Vincent's Regional Hospital in Anderson.He was born in Memphis, TN, December 31, 1934, the son of Paul and Ethel Norris.He was self employed for over thirty years as a well driller.Survivors are his wife of 38 years: Linda Kay (Pierce) of Middletown, 5 children: Lori Mendenhall of Pendleton, Chris Norris (Angie) of Summershade, KY, Randy Norris of Muncie, Tony Norris of Noblesville and Melissa Norris of New Castle, 2 brothers: Richard Norris (Linda) of Anderson and Ernie Norris (Cheryl) of Mt. Washington, KY, 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Pauline Dyer, Caroline Colwell, Shirley Burton and Lois Krebs and 2 brothers: James and Phillip Norris.A Celebration of Charles's life will be held on Saturday at 3:00 PM at Ballard & Sons, 118 South 5th, Middletown, with Pastor Tim Glidden officiating.Friends may call from 11:00 until the time of the service on Saturday.Memorials may be made to the Middletown EMS, Box 1, Middletown IN or St Vincent's Regional Hospice.The Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of Charles with family and friends.
