Anderson...Charles Edwin Medlock, 92, resident of Anderson, passed away October 8, 2012 at his home.He was born in Needmore, Indiana, August 21, 1920, one of fourteen children of Jack and Emma Smith Medlock.He served in the US Navy during WW 2 and owned and operated his own commercial painting business for 34 years. He operated several bingo games around Anderson including the Conservation Club of Anderson.Survivors include his wife of 42 years: Sharon Thomas Medlock, four children: Teresa Hensley (Noah) of Middletown, Kay McKissick (special friend;David Mundy) of Anderson, Judy Rich (Ronald) of Carmel and Julie Brown of Anderson, sister: Barbara (Kermit) Willaims (Betty) 1 brother: John (Vie) Medlock, grandchildren: John McKissick (Debbie), Jennifer McKissick, Alicia Southmayd (Special friend; Tony Pratt), Kurtiss McKissick (Tonya) Brandon Hancock, Cory, Alvin (Tawn), David, Steven (Jessica) Hensley, and Lisa Hensley-Nolen (Allen), Amy Cruz (Jose'), Joseph Brown and Daniel Brown, Jacquelynn Frederick (Jamie), James Rich (Elyse), Jacob Rich (Heather), 14 great great grandchildren.Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers and sisters; Vannie King, Lorene Medlock, Edith Medlock, Lesta Medlock, Gleeda Arthur, Ina Hollers, Claude Medlock (Chet), Hilbert Medlock (Hib), Mary Medlock, Charlotte Amick, Robert Medlock (Bob), son-in-law: Charles McKissick, Jr.Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 12:30 pm at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev.
