Sulphur Springs...Charles W. (Bill) Kinnett, 79, of Sulphur Springs passed away at home surrounded by his beloved family on August 7th, 2011. His battle with cancer has come to peace after 11 years.He was born on January 13th 1932, the son of Tony L. and Pearl M. Kinnett. He was raised in Sulphur Springs and graduated in 1951 from Sulphur Springs High School. Bill, better known as ""Porky"" to his friends and co-workers, worked at Delco Remy in Anderson for 37 and a half years.He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Elizabeth (Betty) Kinnett, Children: Sue Parker (Larry) of Chesterfield, Vicki Brumfield (Andy) of Sulphur Springs, Gary Kinnett (Mary Ann) of Sulphur Springs, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, a sister Jean Harless of Sulphur Springs and several neices and nephews.Through out his life Bill loved hunting, fishing and working diligently in his garden. He also enjoyed NASCAR and playing cards along with family and friends. He loved spending hours in his backyard swing along with his dog Pebbles.He was preceeded in death by his parents, two brothers and five sisters.Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8 pm at the Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown, Indiana. Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 10 am also at the funeral home with Rev. Marty Ballard of the Yorktown Church of the Nazarene officiating.
