Charles I. Englert

Middletown...Charles I. Englert, 79, resident of Middletown, passed away unexpectedly Saturday evening at St. Johns Medical Center.He was born in Medina Ohio, April 25, 1927, the son of Charles I and Grace Ammens Englert.He retired from Russ Reganold Pontiac in Anderson in 1989 and was a US Navy veteran of WW 2.He was a member of the Middletown Lions Club and a former member of the Middletown Masonic Lodge #271.He also was a member of the American Legion of Middletown.Survivors include his wife: Shirley of Middletown, 1 son: Michael (Sally) Englert of Logansport, 3 grandchildren: Andrew, Shelby, and Parker Englert of Logansport.Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by twin bothers: Tom and Joe Englert.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev.
