Daleville...Charles Riley Barnum, 86, passed away at Bethany Point Health Campus on FEbruary 13, 2016.He was born in Union City Indiana to the late Paul R. and Mary(Daubenmire) Barnum.He was a graduate of Union City High School and retired from Tibbets Heath And Electrical after 35 years of service.He is survived by his wife of 67 years: Bernice (Pinney), sons: Bruce (Kay) Barnum of Anderson and Barry (Debbie) Barnum of Odessa, TX, one daughter: Cheryl (Jerry) Warthman of Middletown and a grandson: Jeffrey (Audrea) Barnum of Sarasota, FL.Also surviving are brothers Gene Barnum of Hillgrove, Ohio, Dave (Jan) Barnum of Ft. Wayne and a sister: Ila B. (Ned) Yaney of Dayton, Ohio, several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Paul Jr., Phil, Tom and sister Joyce.A Celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville with Pastor Jeff Williams officiating.Cremation will follow.Friends may call from noon until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.Memorials may be made to the Trinity Community Church or Gentiva Hospice.Special appreciation to the staff of Bethany Pointe and Gentiva Hospice.Online guest book at: www.ballardandsons.comThe Ballard family is honord to celebrate the life of Charles with family and friends.
