Charles Everett Arnold

Middetown.....Charles Everett Arnold, 81, resident of Middletown, passed away Sunday morning at Middletown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Martinsville, March 2, 1937, the son of Harold and Halsie Mason Arnold.
He worked for many years at Gen Air of Indianapolis and was Police Chief of Middletown in the 1970's. He was a veteran of US Marine Corps.
Surviving are 2 sons: Mike Arnold (Tomoko) of Tampa, Fl and Mitch Arnold (Christina) of Middletown, 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, sisters: Phyllis Lane and Sharon Davidson (Ralph) of Anderson.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, 5 brothers and 1 sister.
A memorial service will be held on Friday at 6:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th with Marty Ballard officiating. Full military honors will be given.
Friends may call from 4:00pm to 6:00 PM at the funeral home on Friday.

The family has asked in honor of Charles service as a Marine, to immediately leave the funeral home and visit the "Wall That Heals" across the street from the funeral home in Dietrich Park. or donate to the Marine Corps League, 3619 Jefferson Davis Highway, Suite 115, Stafford, VA 22554.
