Celia Ann (Myers) Hale

Celia Ann (Myers) Hale,76, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Middletown Nursing and Rehab. She was born on March 28, 1949 in Anderson, Indiana, the daughter of the late Charles and Nancy (Swain) Myers.

Celia was a 1967 graduate of Middletown High School and later earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ball State University in 1993. She was a member of the Sigma Theta Tau (international honor society for nurses). She found great fulfillment in her career, especially in home healthcare, where she provided compassionate care to those in need.

She is survived by her loving children: Alan (Beth) Fields, Lance (Amy) Hale, Corey (Amanda) Hale, and Alisha (Alan) New; grandchildren, Alex (Kate) Fields, Chandler (Maddie) Hale, Jacob Fields, Gage (Keylyn) New, Cierra Hale, Charles (Mackenzie) New and Sophia Hale; great-grandchildren, Jaxon Hale, Jon Fields, Ford Benson and Eliza New; sister, Linda (Jon) Dietrich; brother, Steve (Teena) Myers.

In addition to her parents, Celia was preceded in death by her first husband of 25 years and father to their children, Gary Hale and her second husband of 25 years, Greg Ricker; grandson, Halex Hale.

Services will be held at 1:00pm Monday, April 7, 2025 at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown. Burial will follow in Mechanicsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00am until the time of service on Monday.
