Daleville...Cecil Frances (Corn) Ellis, 88, recent resident of Anderson but life time resident of Daleville, passed away at Community Hospital Friday morning in Anderson.She was born in Marion, Indiana, November 7, 1928, the daughter of Marcella Koons.She retired from Housekeeping at IU Health/Ball Memorial Hospital after 30 years of service.She had lived in the Daleville area since 1965.Survivors are 3 sons: Chuck (Deb) Ellis of Temple, TX, Terry (Marilyn) Ellis of Daleville and Roy Ellis of Anderson, 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, 1 sister: Mary Keihn of Muncie, several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her mother and one daughter: Jackie Swearingen.A Celebration of her life will be held on Monday at 6:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville with Scott Guinn officiating.Cremation will follow.Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4-6 PM.Online Guestbook is available at: www.ballardandsons.comThe Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of Cecil with family and friends.
