Catherine May Beouy

Muncie...Catherine May Beouy, 82, resident of Muncie and former Daleville resident, died Saturday morning at the Woodlands Nursing Center in Muncie, after an extended illness.She was born in Gaston, Indiana, April 10, 1920, the daughter of Floyd Harlan and Grace Marie Wellington Beouy.She had been a homemaker and Nanny in area homes. She was a 1938 graduate of Yorktown High School, a member of the Corinth Congregational Church, attended Trinity Community Church of Daleville, worked in the Tape ""Trac"" Society of American, ""Back to the Bible"" Society, American Bible Society and attended Emaus Bible College. She participated in ""The Christian Attic"" in Anderson and loved quilting.Survivors include 2 sisters: Olive (James E.) Holmberg of Muncie and Charleen (Earl) Sloan of Alexandria, several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut, Daleville with Pastor Paul Pletcher officiating.Burial will follow at Jones Cemetery near Yorktown.Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-9 PM.Memorial contributions may be made to the church of the doners choice.Online Guestbook available at: www.ballardandsons.com
