Carolyn Ann Ertel

Carolyn Ann Ertel, 86, of Middletown, Indiana passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 15, 2022.
She loved the Lord and was a strong prayer warrior for all of her family and loved ones.
Carolyn is survived by her two daughters, Debbie Burris and Amy Ertel; sisters, Nancy Oakes of New Castle and Betty Brenan of West Lafayette; brother, John Oakes of Ft. Myers, FL; as well as cousins, nieces, and nephews whom she loved so much.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Noah Ertel; her brothers, Dan Oakes and Tom Oakes; and her youngest sister, Becky Hooper.
At Carolyn’s request there will be a Celebration of Life held on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Mechanicsburg Cemetery. Everyone who would like to join in with the family are welcome. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown, IN.
