Middletown...Carolyn Sue (Norris) Colwell, 62, resident of Middletown, died September 1, 2005 at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie after an extended illness.She was born in Smithville, IN, June 25, 1943, the daughter of Paul R. and Ethel B. Moore Norris.She had lived in Anderson before moving to Middletown.She had been a homemaker her entire lifeShe loved painting, and was involved in a painting class, flowers, gardening, cooking and sewing.Survivors include her husband of 46 years: James of Middletown, 3 children: Jenny (Gary) Glass of Anderson, Leon (Sheila) Colwell of Shepherdsville, KY and Tim (Lanna) Colwell of Middletown, 6 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 4 brothers: Charles (Linda) Norris of Middletown, James (Barbara) Norris of Shephersville, KY, Ernie (Cheryl) Norris of Mt Washington, KY, Richard (Linda) Norris of Anderson and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters and 1 brother.Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev. Marty Ballard officiatingBurial will follow on Tuesday at 2:00 (Indiana Time) at Baker Cemetery in Busy, KY with Rev.
