Indianapolis...Carol Arlene (Rinker) Michael, 91, longtime Daleville resident, passed away February 13, 2009 at Manor Care South Health services in Indianapolis.She was born in Delaware County, March 4, 1917, the daughter of Hickman and Ada Ballinger Rinker.She was a 1935 graduate of Daleville High School and a member of the Daleville United Methodist Church where she had been a kindergarten teacher in the Sunday School for over 20 years.Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Frederick in 2000, 1 brother: Edward Rinker and 1 sister: Vera Oard.Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnuts St., Daleville with Rev. Judy Fuller and Pastor Marty Ballard officiating.Burial will follow in Saunders Cemetery, east of Daleville.Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from Noon until the time of the services.Memorials may be made to the American Arthritis Foundation.Online Guestbook at:
