Carl Rupert Neff, 75 of Anderson passed away Wednesday February 2, 2022 at Ascension Saint Vincent Hospital in Anderson. He was born on June 26, 1946 in Anderson, IN, a son of the late Vaughn and Edith (Stringer) Neff.
Carl was a 1964 graduate of Middletown High School. He was a Vietnam Veteran of the US Army and was employed with General Motors part of the guide lamp division for 32 years. He retired as a truck driver for Southern Express. Carl attended the of the Mechanicsburg Methodist Church and Church of God in Middletown. He also was a member of the VFW in Muncie, IN and the Masonic Lodge #630 in Parker City.
Carl is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marcia (Hudson) Neff of Anderson; 3 sons, Gary (Sherry) Neff of Cleveland, GA, Bruce Neff of Richmond, IN, and Derick (Chelsea) Neff of Anderson, IN; 2 grandchildren, Caleb Neff and Justin Neff of Cleveland, GA; 1 great grandchild, Chessany Bree-Ann Neff of Cleveland, GA; 1 brother, Ace Neff of Daleville, IN; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his sister.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown with military chaplain officiating. Visitation will be at 1:00 until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at P.O.
