Indianapolis...Carl Max Myer, 77, former area resident, died Thursday morning at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, after an extended illness.He was born in Brazil, Indiana, December 21, 1926 the son of Robert and Esther Prulier Myer.He had worked for A.L.A.C. (Anderson Laundry and Cleaning) for many years. He was a US Army Veteran serving as a Medic and a graduate of Burris High School in Muncie.Survivors include 1 daughter: Vicki Myer of Sturgeon Lake Minnesota, 1 brother: Larry Myer of Warsaw, 1 sister: Wanda Imel of Anderson, 2 grandchildren: Stacey and Shane Nichols, several great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his wife: Jean in 1998 and 1 daughter: Diane Nichols as well as his parents.Private visitation and services will be held at the Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville.Burial will follow at Elm Ridge Cemetery in Muncie.Online Guestbook is available at:
