Morristown...Bryant M. Huffman, Sr., 95, resident of Morristown and former Middletown resident, passed away Saturday morning in Morristown.He was born in Anderson, January 28, 1920, the son of Glen and Catherine Bryant Huffman.He retired from Anaconda Wire and was an Independent Truck Driver.He was a US Army veteran of WW 2 serving as a combat engineer.He was a member of the Amvets, American Legions and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife: Betty in 1993, his son: Bryant M Huffman Jr, brother: Edward, Andrew, J.C., and Ernest Huffman sisters: Emma Alice Carroll, Anna Louise Haygood, Viola M. Duncan, Bertha Helen Wilkinson.Survivors are his wife: Joan M. Huffman of Morristown, step sons: John D. Brattain (Jane) of New Palestine and Donald G. Bruce, stepdaughter: Amy Jo Brooks of Anderson, step grandchildren: Wendy and Joni, 5 great step grandchildren, brothers: Jackie Lee Huffman (Inga) of Germany and Walther Charles Huffman of Madison, several nieces and nephews.A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday at 6:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Pastor Lance Stevens officiating.Friends may call at the funeral home after 3:00 PM on Wednesday.Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.Online Guestbook at:
