Pendleton...Bryant McKnight Huffman, Jr., 63, resident of Pendleton, passed away October 31, 2006 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis after an extended illness.He was born December 18, 1942, the son of Bryant M. and Elizabeth Hiday Huffman, Sr.He attended Middletown High School and had been a security guard for the state of Indiana since 1967.He was a veteran of the US Air Force with rank of sergeant during the Vietnam War.He was a member of the VFW #266 of Anderson and had attended the St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Anderson.Survivors include his father and step mother: Bryant M. Huffman, Sr. and Joan (Myers) Huffman of Anderson, 2 step-brothers: John D. (Jane) Brattain of New Palestine and Donald Bruce of Anderson, 1 step sister: Amy Jo Brooks of Anderson, 2 step grandchildren: Wendy and Joni and 3 step great grandchildren, Aunts and Uncles: Anna Louise Haygood of Pendleton, Emma (Bill) Carrol of Anderson, Andrew (Mary Lou) Huffman of Anderson, Walter Charles Huffman of Madison, and Jackie (Inge) Lee Huffman of Germany.He was preceded in death by his mother: Elizabeth and several Uncles and Aunts and 1 niece.Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM at Ballad and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev.
