Bruce Edwin Bailey

Daleville...Bruce Edwin Bailey, 67, longtime resident of Daleville, passed away early Wednesday morning unexpectedly in Michigan.He was born in Grinnell, Iowa, October 30, 1944 the son of William Ralph and Evelyn Irene Billman Bailey.He was a graduate of Frankfort High School and Ball State University with a BA in Business.He retired from Delco Remy of General Motors in 1998.He has lived in the Daleville Community since 1963 and was a member of the Daleville Christian Church, the Hoosier Cruisers Motor Home Association, Bounders of Indiana, UAW Local 662 and attended the Thonotosassa United Methodist Church when traveling in Florida.Survivors include his wife: Beth Jean (Sheets) Bailey of Daleville, children: Blair (Kimberly) Bailey of Flora, Brenda (Dan) Bailey-Hughes of Bloomington, IN, and Bonita (Chris) Schott of Anderson, 6 grandchildren: Aaron (Keilah Brown) Bailey of LaFayette, Jared Bailey of Indianapolis, and Jessica Bailey of Ft. Wayne, Preston and Samantha Hughes of Bloomington and Carter Schott of Anderson, Father: William Bailey of Frankfort, 1 brother: Hal (Barbara) Bailey of Elwood and 1 sister: Judy Pitman of Frankfort, several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his mother: Evelyn Irene Billman Bailey in 2011.Funeral services will be Sunday at 4:00 PM at the Daleville Christian Church with Rev.
