Middletown...Brett Allen Favors, 45, resident of Mechanicsburg, passed away at Community East Hospital in Indianapolis Thursday evening.He was born in Muncie, June 2, 1963, the son of Jerry Lee and Linda Louise Loughmiller Favors.He was a 1981 graduate of Delta High School.He had worked at General GMC Truck in the Body Shop, Sheller Globe, and was currently employed at Penske Oil in Indianapolis.Survivors include his wife of 2 years, Sharon (Baker) of Mechanicsburg, parents: Jerry and Linda Favors of Eaton, IN, sisters: Lora Bales of Dunkirk, and Valerie Nottingham of Albany, step son: Ryan Leonard, stepdaughter: Amanda Leonard, stepgrandson: Jaylen Leonard, four nephews: Jesse Bales, Jacob Bales, Wes Nottingham, and Chris Nottingham.He had a host of friends, real in every sense of the word as well as aunts and uncles and cousins.He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Ina and Ken Loughmiller, Thelma Smith and Farrell Favors, Greatgrandparents: Velvia and Rhoda Phillips and Zoe And Orville Baker, Great Great Grandmother: Cora Justice.He and his wife recently road with his friends to the mountains of Tennessee on his Harley. He was sure that the trip was a preview of heaven where he now dwells.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev.
