Bonnie Louise McCarty, 77 , of Sulphur Springs passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, December 15, 2023. She was born April 17, 1946, in Kentucky to the late Howard and Marget Jett
Bonnie was a lifelong resident of Sulphur Springs, IN. Her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were the joy of her life. She enjoyed gardening and loved her flower beds. Bonnie was a magnificent cook who would feed anybody and everybody. She had the ability to recreate any recipe from any restaurant by taste and did it very often. We love our Momma more than words can explain. She taught us to be strong, fearless, compassionate, to love, laugh and enjoy every second of every minute. We could probably write a book on how she not only raised us with hugs, kisses, encouragement and so much goodness along with many other family members and friends. She was our small towns unofficial therapist, so many had coffee and counseling at our kitchen table. Everyone loved Aunt Bonnie. Her reward is here and she has been reunited with the love of her life, our daddy. ♥️
Bonnie is survived by her daughters, Beverly Hilburt (Joe) of Sulphur Springs, Beth Pinkston (Floyd) of Sulphur Springs and Trina Randall (Dave) of Missouri; special niece, Stormy Lumpkin (Andy); special nephew, Brian White; grandchildren, Kayla Hilburt of Chesterfield, Patrick Hilburt (Tiffany) of Sulphur Springs, Trey Pinkston of Sulphur Springs, Tangie Randall (Patrick Battle) of Pheonix, AZ, Hayley Benoit (Trey) of Sulphur Springs and Shelby Randall of Sulphur Springs; great grandchildren, Gabby, Bonnie, Grant, Little Pat and Genevieve ; sister-in-law, Mary Jett of Kentucky; brothers, William Jett of Indianapolis, Glen Jett (Dinah) of Maysville, KY; special friends, Rick and Linda Egan; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Bonnie is preceded in death by her husband, William McCarty; sisters, Betty Linville and Linda Applegate; brothers, Charles Jett, Ronnie Jett, and Ricky Jett.
