Middletown...Bonnie Jean Hinshaw, 75, resident of Middletown, passed away at her daughter's residence iin Middletown after an extended illness.She was born in Mooreland, Indiana, October 26, 1940, the daughter of Bernard Leon and Mary Elizabeth Hellard Burroughs.She retired from Dana Corporation in 1990 after 22 years of service.She was a member of the Goldwing Club and loved reading, riding motor cycles, camping, stock car racing especially late models.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Richard Hinshaw Sr., a son: Richard ""Rick"" Hinshaw, Jr. and a special Aunt: Jewel Atkins.Survivors include her children: Randy Hinshaw of Louisville, KY and Rita (Bobby) Westrater of Middletown, honorary daughter: Debra Simmons of Muncie, 1 brother: Jerry Lee Burroughs (Elizabeth) of Dunreith, a special cousin: Pat Mahaffey, 9 grandchildren: Ricky Hinshaw, Shan Willis, Ryan Hinshaw (Jessica), Katie Brown (AJ), Randy Hinshaw, II, James Womack, Trevor Westrater (Madi), Madison Hinshaw, Michelle Sheets (Toby) and 8 great grandchildren.A Celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Pastor Dan Heylmann officiating.
