Bobby Gene Witham

New Castle....Bobby Gene Witham, 86, resident of New Castle, passed away at Community East Hospital in Indianapolis on November 18, 2020. He was born in Clinton County, Kentucky, September 21, 1934 the son of Hebert and Mary Dicken Witham. He was a graduate of Lewisville High School and retired from Delco Remy in 1997 after 43 years of service.
He was a veteran of the US Army and a member of the Chesterfield American Legion #408. He has a member of the former Shenandoah Optimist Club and attended Charity Baptist church on New Castle.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Son: Ed Witham, Wives, Betty (Miller) and Martha (Riley), and a sister, Helen Hensley.
Survivors include his children; Pam Frost (Shane) of Middletown, Herb Witham of Zionsville, and Bob Witham (Beth) of New Castle, 10 grandchildren; Dustin and Dylan Frost, Dean, Grace, Rob, Tom, Luke, Brady, Dru, and Libby Witham, 3 great grandchildren; Dalton and Daxton Frost and Everly Witham, Daughter-in-law, Robin Curry (Rob) of New Castle, brothers and sisters; Ruby Shook, Wanda Hinshaw, Opie Effinger, Sue South, Bill Witham, Gary Witham, Diane Hitchcock, Sheila Oliver and Gail Coleman, several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 11:00 am at Lewisville Cemetery, Lewisville, IN.
Memorials may be made to the Shenandoah Athletic Department through Shenandoah High School.
