Middletown...Bobby Gene Emswiller, 77, lifetime resident of Middletown, died Friday at his residence unexpectedly.He was born in Middletown, July 7, 1927, the son of Ralph and Iva Neff Emswiller. He had attended Middletown Schools and retired from Guide Lamp of Anderson in 1987 after 32 1/2 years of service.He was a veteran of the US Navy and the US Army serving in WW 2 and the Korean Conflict.He was a member of the Lions Club, the American Legion, the American Modelling Association, the UAW 663 and he loved to build and fly radio controlled airplanes. He was a member of the Middletown Corn Huskers Radio Controlled Airplane Club.Survivors are 4 sons: Raymond L. (Kathy) Potter of Greensfork, David Ralph (Glenda) Emswiller of Chesterfield, Glenn (Sharon) Hindman of Middletown, and David L. (Tamara) Emswiller of Middletown, 2 daughters: Sue Ann (Richard) Gross of Daleville and Vicky (James) Nixon of Muncie, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins and nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his wife Betty, his parents, 1 son: Frankie Cook, and 1 daughter: Carol Anderson.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown, IN with Rev.
