Middletown....Bobby James Crabtree 86, resident of Middletown passed away on Wednesday June 2, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Moodyville, Tennessee, February 9, 1935, the son of Printis and Vina Storie Crabtree.
He retired in 1986 from General Motors Delco Remy as a utility man.
He moved to Middletown in 1969 and loved mowing, gardening and taking care of his truck.
He was a good neighbor and attended the Maple Grove Church of God.
Survivors are his daughters: Sheila Jones and Patty Crabtree of Middletown, 2 sisters, Peggy Lee (Sam) of Muncie and Linda Beaty (Charles) of Jamestown, TN, 3 grandchildren: Kalyn King (Jimmie) of Muncie, Kelci Gilliam of Muncie and Eli Sewell of Winfield, TN, honorary daughters, Angela Cavanaugh of Muncie and Tina (Chris) Sewell of Winfield, TN, great grandchildren, Grayci and Gannon Gilliam, several nieces and nephews sister in law, Matilda Crabtree.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Edelene in 2008, brothers Billy Crabtree ad Doyle and his wife Glenda) Crabtree,
Services will be held on /Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Pastor Steve Delisie officiating.
Burial will follow in Mechanicsburg Cemetery, Middletown.
Friends may call on Wednesday from noon until the time of the services at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.
