Beverly Sue Broadbent

Middletown...Beverly Sue (Day) Broadbent, 63, resident of Middletown, died at her home after a several month illness.She was born in Muncie, July 7, 1940, the daughter of E. Howard and Oneida June Whetzel Day. She was a 1958 graduate of Middletown High School and retired from Waste Management Corporation in Muncie after 25 years of service in 2002, where she had been office manager.She was a member of the Middletown United Methodist Church, the American Legion Post of Middletown, and was an avid Shenandoah Athletic Booster. She was also on the election board for the Democratic Party.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Stephen in 1988 and a granddaughter, Stephanie Hayes.Survivors include two daughters: Teresa (Jeffery) Hayes of Middletown and Sheryl (Douglas) Pullins of Middletown, 7 grandchildren: Chelsie, Carie, and Codie Hayes, Travis, Chadd and Brittany Tyler, and Austin Pullins, all of Middletown, a special cousin: Mary Ann Conn of Middletown.Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:00 am at the Middletown United Methodist Church with Pastor Jeff Langdon officiating.
