Middletown...Beulah M. (Morton) Stewart, 90, resident of Middletown, passed away December 14, 2005 at St. Johns Medical Center in Anderson.She was born in Mulberry, IN, June 9, 1915, the daughter of Harry and Icy Miller Morton.She was a 1932 graduate of Mulberry High School and received degrees in Music and Physical Education from Indiana University in 1936 and a degree in Art from Ball State University in 1953.She had taught for many year in the Anderson School System retiring in 1980. She taught in Middletown School from 1952-1956 and in Anderson from 1956-1980.She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Middletown and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star where she was Past Worthy Matron. She was a member of the Indiana State Teachers Association, the WSCS of the Methodist Church where she played piano. She taught private music lessons for over 45 years.Survivors are 2 daughters: D'Maris Schoneberg of Arapahoe, Nebraska, and Vonita Adams of Muncie, 2 sons: Ralph (Bill) Stewart of Vincinnes and James Stewart of Daleville, 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 1 sister: Josephine Randolph of Boca Raton, FL, several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Pastor Jeff Landon officiating.Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery.Friends may call on Saturday from 6-8 PM.Online Guestbook is available at:
