Betty Dean Witham

New Castle...Betty Dean Witham, 69, resident of rural New Castle, passed away Monday evening at Ball Memorial Hospital.She was born in Clinton County, KY, July 22, 1940 the daughter of Edger M. and Grace Hatcher Miller. She was a 1958 graduate of Lewisville High School and worked for many years in the cafeteria at Shenandoah High School.She was a member of the Charity Baptist Church of New Castle.Survivors include her husband: Bobby of New Castle, sons: Herb Witham of Brownsberg and Bob A. (Beth) Witham of New Castle, 1 daughter: Pamela (Shane) Frost of Middletown, grandchildren: Dustin Frost, Brady Witham, Dru Witham, Libby Witham, Dean Witham, Grace Witham, Robbie Witham, Tommy Witham, Luke Witham and Dylan Frost, 1 sister: Norma Jean (Bob) Herbert of New Castle and daughter in law: Robin Witham-Curry.She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister: Doris Herbert and 1 son: Ed Witham.Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Pastor Laurel Boling officiating.Burial will follow in Lewisville Cemetery.Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-8 PM.Memorials may be made to the Witham Scholarship Fund through the funeral home.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com
