Pendleton...Betty Imogene Carter Neal, 83, resident of Pendleton, passed away Wednesday at Community Hospital in Anderson.She was born in Burksville, KY, July 21, 1934 the daughter of Allen and Sallie Melton Carter.She was a 1952 graduate of Middletown High School and retired from General Motors in Anderson.She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.Survivors are two sons: Dan Neal (Robbin) of New Castle and Jeff Neal of Markleville, grandchildren: Claire Neal and Hayden Neal of Markleville and Blake (Becky) Neal of Pendleton, 1 brother: Clide Carter (Marylou) of Middletown, several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters.Services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.Friends may call from 9:00 am until the time of the services.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com.The Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of Betty with family and friends.Memorials to the Lupus Association of America.
