Daleville...Betty Jean (Leathers) Everett, 76, longtime resident of the Daleville area, passed away in Anderson after a brief illness.She was born in Chesterfield, May 20, 1929, the daughter of Marion and Addie McCallister Leathers.She had been a homemaker most of her life and attended the Corinth United Methodist Church.Survivors are two sons: Arnie Everett and Ron Everett of Daleville, 3 grandchildren: Amanda Gough of Daleville, Kimberly (Jared) Williams of Indianapolis, and Jacob (Jennifer) Everett of Carmel, 3 great grandchildren: Cole Williams of Indianapolis, Sylvia Gough of Daleville and Julienne Everett of Carmel, 1 sister: Dorris Hennis of Ingalls, and 2 brothers: William (Eldora) Leathers of Honey Creek and Robert (Pauline) Leathers of Chesterfield, several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband: Arnold S. in 1990, her parents, Brothers and sisters: Ada Moore, Donald Leathers, Ella McDaniel, Arnold Leathers (Twin of Don), Mary Ellen Leathers, and infant twins: Joe and Jo Ellen, and daughter-in-law: Jeanne Everett.Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 4:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville, with Rev. Marty Ballard and Family officiating.Burial will follow in Saunders Cemetery in Daleville.Friends may call from 2 until the time of the services at the funeral home on Saturday.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com
