Bette Jane Small

Middletown...Bette Jane (Larsen) Small, longtime resident of Middletown, passed away Sunday evening at her residence after a brief illness.She was born June 27, 1924 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, the daughter of Eric and Fannie Routh Larsen.She had worked for over 36 years at the Holiday Inn in Anderson and for over 12 years at the KFC of Anderson. She was a member of the Middletown United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star of Middletown.She was preceded in death by her husband: Ted in 1996.Survivors include two daughters: Penny Bullock of Waterloo, Iowa and Susan (George) Soderling of Windsor, CO, two grandchildren: Warren Bullock (Whitney) of Cedar Fall, Iowa and Philip Soderling of Windsor, CO, 1 grandaughter: Janie Soderling of Windsor, CO, 2 great grandchildren: Weslee and Wyatt Bullock of Cedar Fall, Iowa,Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev.
