Mooreland...Berniece R. (Jones) Harmeson, 97, resident of ""A Place Called Home"" living center in Mooreland, passed away Wednesday morning at the living center.She was born in Anderson, August 23, 1913, the daughter of Roy S. and Elsie Roland Jones.She was a 1931 graduate of Anderson High School and attended Ball State University.She had been a substitute teacher for many years, especially in the Sulphur Springs schools.She and her husband owned and operated Harmeson Furniture in Sulphur Springs from 1945-1984.Sh had attended the First United Methodist Church of Anderson and the Sulphur Springs Christian Church.Survivors include a daughter: Connie (Jerry) Gibson of Middletown and 1 sister: Merle Green of Anderson.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Emmette, 2 brothers and a grandson: Tony Day.Graveside services will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM at Mechanicsburg Cemetery.Memorials may be made to: ""A Place Called Home"", 214 North Jefferson, ST., Mooreland IN 47360.Special thanks to Cheryl Meyer, Terry McDonley, Tonya Cole and Vicki West for the great love and care.Online Guestbook at:
