(Stokes) Casstevens, 83, resident of Middletown, passed away February 6, 2016 at 11:45 am surrounded by her family.She was born March 4, 1932 in Anderson.Berneda was known as ""Fred""and was a homemaker and an avid Indianapolis Colts fan. She was a graduate of Middletown High School and Indiana Business College. She was employed by Bill Cook at Heckamen Buick in her earlier years.She is survived by two daughters: LeAnn (Jeff) West of Indianapolis and Wendy Riggs of New Castle, 1 son: James (Hilary) Casstevens of Middletown, four grandchildren: Dustin Riggs, Kelsey (Drew) Moore, Jarren (Kara) Casstevens and Collin Casstevens, and two great grandchildren: Caiden Riggs and McKinley Casstevens.She was preceded in death by her husband: Jack P. Casstevens whom she married March 10, 1952 and who passed in May of 2013, her parents: James and Thelma Stokes, a sister: Barbara Hill and a son-in-law: Keith Riggs.A public graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am at Mechanicsburg Cemetery in Middletown with Marty Ballard officiating.There will be no public visitation.In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Middletown Fire Department, c/o Middletown Municipal Building 653 Locust St., Middletown, Indiana 47356.Online Guestbook at:
