Middletown...Becca Carlene (Triplett) Purdue, 71, became whole again, when she died 28 December 2003 while at Winona Hospital in Indianapolis after courageously enduring twelve years of illness associated with complications from renal failure. Her faith and courage never wavered, her spirit carries on.Becca was born November 1, 1932 in Anderson, Indiana, to Earnest and Leddie Triplett. She graduated from Middletown High School in 1951 and resided within Anderson, Daleville, and Middletown her entire life.She retired from Saint Johns Hospital in Anderson in 1991 after faithfully serving as their switchboard operator for 37 years. She married Norman N. Purdue of Middletown in August of 1952. Becca moved to Middletown with Norman in 1987. She maintained this loving relationship with the love of her life until Norman's death in February of 1995. Also preceding her in death was her father Earnest Triplett in 1980 and grandson Joshua Bruce Kreger in 1976.Becca was an active member of the Middletown Church of the Nazarene.Becca is survived by: Her daughter and son-in-law, Monetta Delon and Bruce Kreger with their children Jessica and Justin of Moore, Oklahoma and her son and loving daughter-in-law, Norman Vincent and Bonny Purdue with their children Elizabeth and Alexander of Middletown, her mother, Leddie Triplett of Middletown, sister, Joyce Blake of Middletown, her brother, Larry and wife, Janice Triplett of Mechanicsburg and brother Carl and wife Bonnie Triplett of Anderson.She was a wonderful daughter, a loving mother, a loyal and faithful wife, a worker of good deeds, and a kind and compassionate person and friend to all who knew her or who came to know her. She will be greatly missed, but her passing a joy of relieving her earthly pain. She now resides in glory. Live well and live right and when you reach glory too, please stop by and say hello to her, she will be so happy to see you too!Funeral services will be held on Wednesday December 31, 2003 at 10:00 am at the Middletown Church of the Nazarene, 698 North fifth street, Middletown with Dr. Philip C. Rogers and Rev.
