Barbara Jean Helsley

Middletown....Barbara Jean (Jennings) Helsley, 83, resident of Middletown passed away at the home of her daughter in Anderson early Tuesday morning after an extended illness.She was born in Markleville, March 2, 1926, the daughter of Samuel and Mabel Benson Jennings.She was a 1944 graduate of Middletown High School.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: E. M. Helsley, sister: June Jennings, brothers: Dwain, Glen and James Jennings and 1 son: Jim Helsley.She is survived by 4 daughters: Sheryol Girt (Bill) of Anderson, Sandra Edwards (David) of Anderson, Faith Longfellow (Chet) of Middletown and Tina Jones of Anderson, 16 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren, several nices and nephews.Graveside services will be held on Monday at 2:00 PM at Mechanicsburg Cemetery with Rev.
