Barbara (Miller) Eaker, 89, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 in Middletown. She was born in Warrick County, Indiana on August 21, 1933, the daughter of the late Amil and Cloa (Stephens) Miller.
Barbara was a graduate of Linville High School and had owned and operated Main Street Market in Anderson for 25 years. Recently she had owned and operated the River Bridge Inn in Bryson City, North Carolina. Barbara had attended the Lindburgh Road Church of Christ and the Whiteland Church of Christ. She sang in the Rainbow Quartet. Barbara loved to sew, paint and crochet.
Survivors include her children; Nancy (her late husband Dannie) Witter of West College Corner, Ohio, Brenda (John) Rhodes II of Middletown, Anita (Richard) Hill of New Whiteland, Indiana and Lisa “Figg” (Chris) Oakes of Middletown; grandchildren, Anthony and Shane Witter, Tiana Mathes, Christina Boyland, John-John Rhodes, Morgan Ridge, Ashley and Maddie Hill and Darin and Lauren Figg; 14 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a brother-in-law, Norman Alexander; her loving dog, “My Heart”; special friends, “The Three Sisters” and Virginia Short, Beth and Terry Nugent and Marlene Jackson.
In addition to her parent’s, she was preceded in death by her Husband, Harold “Buck” Eaker and her one and only favorite son, Ronnie Joe Figg.

Services will be held on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at 4:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, Middletown Chapel. Friends may call from 2:00 PM until the time of the service.
