Sulphur Springs...Barbara Lois Craig-Ward, 77, resident of Sulphur Springs, passed away Sunday evening at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.She was born in Anderson, October 2, 1932, the daughter of Guy and Dorothy Beeman Maddy.She had been a nurses aid at Henry County Hospital for several years.She was preceded in death by her parents, two husband: Claud O. Craig and Raymond Ward and a step daughter: Gloria Boling.She was a 1950 graduate of Cadiz High School.Survivors include her children: Diana (Jerry) Waggoner of Reelsville, Richard (Linda) Craig of New Castle, Randy (Kathy) Craig of Mt. Summit, and Robert (Renada) Craig of Burlington, Step children: Kenny (Toni) Ward, Don (Linda) Ward, Diane (David) Lullen of New Castle and Kathy (Bill) Kendall of Spencer, several grandchildren and several great grandchildren, 2 sisters: Linda Plyler of Concord, NC and Bonnie Mitchell of Anderson.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev. Tom Current officiating.Burial will follow in Green Hills Memory Gardens in New Castle.Friends may call from 11:00 am until the time of the services on Wednesday.Memorials may be made to the Jefferson Twp.
