Anderson...Barbara L. (Scheffler) Biggs, 67, Anderson, died February 20th at Community Hospital in Anderson, after an extended illness.She was born February 6, 1937 in Little Rock, Arkansas and lived in Anderson most of her life. She was a homemaker and worked formerly as a beautician. Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting, ceramics, and other crafts. She was a member of Parkview Wesleyan Church in Chesterfield, Indiana.She is survived by her husband, Robert F. Biggs, Sr. whom she married December 15, 1974, 2 daughters: Julie (Greg) Alexander of Anderson and Lora (Clarence) Prince of Anderson, 2 sons: Jim (Marsha) Gordon of Tucson, AZ and Robert F. (Anita)Biggs, Jr. of Middletown, 2 sisters: Melba Jean Johnson of Lebanon and Anita (David) Green of Clinton Township, MI, 1 brother: Larry (Ann) Blackmond of Warren; 1 sister-in-law: Ruth Scheffler of Tipton, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents: Lora M. and Robert Blackmond; father: Herman Scheffler, 1 brother: Cecil Scheffler, 1 son: Richard Allen Gordon and mother-in-law; Mary K. Biggs.Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown, with Rev. Paul Trent officiating.Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery in Anderson.Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4-8 PM.The family would like to express special thanks to Community Hospital staff, Rev.
