Daleville...Arthur James Gustin, passed away December 31, 2004, at Bethany Pointe Health Campus in Anderson after an extended illness.He was born September 24, 1907 in Chesterfield, the son of John and Nellie Mae Trimble Gustin.He was lifelong resident of the Chesterfield/Daleville area and retired from Delco Remy in 1968 where he had been a foreman in the Tool Grinding Shop.He was a 1926 graduate of Anderson High School and attended the Pikes Peak Christian Church and the Chesterfield Christian Church serving as Elder and Sunday School teacher. He was a 70 year member of the Ovid Lodge F and AM #164 in Ovid where he served as PastMaster. He enjoyed farming and gardening.Survivors include two daughters: Martha (Duane) Osburn and Paula (Nicky) Bronnenberg of Anderson, 6 grandchildren: Dan (Dana) Osburn of Atlanta, GA, Jim Osburn of Houston, TX, Steve Osburn of London, England, Dave (Natalie) Osburn of Fishers, Kathy Bronnenberg of Daleville, and Michael (Kami) Bronnenberg of Muncie, five great grandchildren: Kerrick Osburn of Atlanta, GA, Keegan and Makennah Bronnenberg of Muncie, Lexi and Caleb Osburn of Fishers and several nieces and nephews and special friend: Lois Arnold of Daleville.He was preceded in death by his parents, wives: Mary Alice (Hale) Gustin and Mary Margaret (Osborn-Cromer) Gustin , 1 brother: Palmer Gustin and sisters: Marguarite Hunter, Irene Johnston, and Mattie Gustin.Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville with Special family friend Rev. Andy Odle officiating.Burial will follow in Tomlinson Cemetery near Muncie.Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from noon until the time of the services.Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.Online Guestbook is available at: www.ballardandsons.com
