Middletown...Arthenia ""Artie"" (Seal) Zile, 78, of rural Middletown died Friday, March 27, 2015, at Community Hospital in Anderson.Born Oct. 2, 1936, in Sneedville, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Carson W. and Ollie Mae (Hatfield) Seal. She graduated in 1954 from Markleville High School. She married John D. Zile on April 24, 1960, in Middletown. She worked several years at Roland Title in Anderson, King's Title and Abstract in New Castle, and retired from Greenfield Title Company in Greenfield in 1999. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and was a hobby antique dealer having booths at several area antique malls. She had attended Pleasant Valley Christian Church and Tabor Baptist Church and was a member of the Tri-County Christian Church in Middletown. She is survived by two daughters; Amy Zile of Muncie and Franki Zile of rural Middletown; a son, Norman Zile of rural Middletown; a grandson, Carson Zile of Orlando, Fla.; two brothers, Raymond (wife: Ruthann) Seal of Markleville, and Gaston (wife: Libby) Seal of Weaverville, N.C.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, John; and three brothers; Clifton Seal, Bradley Seal and Harold Mark Seal.Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown. Services are 2 p.m. Friday at Tri County Christian Church in Middletown with the Rev. Jim Harless officiating.
