Muncie...Armond Francis Gillis, III, 76, resident of Muncie, passed away May 19, 2011 at Select Specialty Hospital in Beech Grove, IN.He was born in Muncie, April 4, 1936, the son of Armond and Virginia Rolka Gillis, II.He was a veteran of Korea and retired from Chrysler Corporation in New Castle in 2009.He was a member of the UAW and Knights of Columbus.Survivoring is one son: Mark Gillis of Indianapolis.Funeral services will be held on Monday evening at 7:00 pm at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown.Burial will follow at Mechanicsburg Cemetery at a later date.Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 5-7 PM.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandson.ocm
