New Castle....April Rosetta Scudder, 47, resident of New Castle, passed away early Saturday morning at her residence in New Castle.She was born in Anderson, November 5, 1967, the daughter of Lee Riley Bowlin and Phyllis Mae Poffenbarger.She was a graduate of Shenandoah High School and had an associate's degree in accounting working for Sallie Mae.She loved spending time with her family, especially her nine grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents.Survivors include her husband: Jonathan of New Castle, children: B.J. Mundell and Heather Mundell of New Castle, Erica Reurn (Jeffrey) of Kokomo, JD Scudder (Kimber Little) and Mackenzie Scudder of Muncie and 9 grandchildren.A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Doug Kizer and Marty Ballard officiating.Cremation will follow.Friends may call on Wednesday from noon until the time of the services.Memorials may be made to the family.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.comThe Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of April with family and friends.
